Several
operatives of Department of State Service (DSS) has just arrested former
National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) in Abuja.
A newswire connected to the ex-NSA, PRNigeria released a statement
saying Mr. Dasuki was picked up by agents of the DSS and taken into
custody at their "Yellow House” headquarters near the Presidential Villa
in Abuja .
Mr. Dasuki latest arrest follows the arrest of several of his former
staff members, arms suppliers and a former minister of state for Finance
who was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
yesterday.
Mr. Dasuki allegedly withdrew $2.1 billion from the Central Bank of
Nigeria and the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation in the dying days
