Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates another goal against Malmo
Cristiano Ronaldo's remarkable Champions League goal-scoring feats continue.
On Tuesday, the Real Madrid star broke his own record for goals in the group stage of the Champions League, bagging four in an 8-0 win over Malmo to take his 2015/16 European total to 11 in six games.
That betters his previous best group-stage haul of nine, which was equalled by Luiz Adriano last season.
It also means Ronaldo has now scored more goals in six Champions League games this season than he has in 14 La Liga matches. He has 10 goals in Spain's top flight this term.

Ronaldo's goals on Tuesday also make him the first Real Madrid player to score four times in a Champions League match - he fell just one short of matching the competition record of five in one game, held by Lionel Messi and Adriano. Alfredo Di Stefano, Hugo Sanchez and Ferenc Puskas all scored four for Real Madrid in European Cup games.
Ronaldo's goals against Malmo move him further ahead in the Champions League goal-scorer standings and to within one hat-trick of matching Messi's five Champions League trebles.
