Check Out New Photos Of Ooni Of Ife

Ahead of his coronation as the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has released some amazing new pictures.

The coronation which is scheduled for Monday, December 7, is expected to have a representative of the Queen of England, Elizabeth Alexander and President Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.

Other prominent traditional rulers expected at the ceremony are the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Shehu of Borno, Alake of Egbaland and Awujale of Ijebuland, among others.

Oba Ogunwusi who emerged as the 51^st Ooni of Ife was presented with the Aare crown on Monday, November 23, after coming out for the first time, following the 21-day traditional rites to the throne.
The Ooni was reportedly said to have visited strategic places in the town as early as 5.oo am that day. He visited his family compound and Obalufe house to perform some rites as demanded by the Ife tradition.
