Olivier Giroud celebrates Arsenal's win over Aston Villa
Thierry Henry praised the performance of Olivier Giroud after the Frenchman helped Arsenal secure a 2-0 victory at Aston Villa.
Giroud set Arsenal on their way, converting a penalty after Theo Walcott had been brought down in the box, before Aaron Ramsey grabbed a second before half-time to send the Gunners to the top of the Premier League.Giroud became the third-fastest Arsenal player to reach 50 Premier League goals with his early strike but Henry, speaking on Super Sunday, insisted there is more to the striker's game than his scoring rate.
Giroud's record is impressive for the Gunners
"I like his all-round play and his work-rate. We all know he can hold the ball well up front and he does it with ease at times. He can hold the ball, flick it, and will also do the dirty work.
"He's always available, that's one thing I like with him. He will always ask for the ball.

Thierry Henry on Olivier Giroud
Henry also believes Ramsey's tenacity deserved a mention, as it was the Welshman who started and finished the move that led to the Gunners' second goal, highlighting the gulf between him and his Villa counterparts.
"The Villa players defended with their eyes," Henry added. "They just watched as Ramsey won the tackle and started a counter attack.
"He didn't stay on the ground and watch the counter, he got up and made sure he was on the end of it.
"That is what makes players like Ramsey special. They are always alert to these things."
